Since the release of their debut EP 'Dance To This!'> in 2011, F.O.D. has become a household name in the Belgian punk rock scene. The band built a steady live reputation with their catchy melodies, much in the vein of what their legendary predecessors such as Green Day, Descendents, Lagwagon and Bad Religion have delivered us over the past few decades.
Their first video, the instant poppunk anthem 'Carry on' became a classic among the scene.

Seven years and three full albums later, F.O.D. has toured around the world, with highlights such as a touring Canada, Japan, Europe and supporting SUM41, Lagwagon, Satanic Surfers, No Fun At All and Frenzal Rhomb . F.O.D.'s steady rise brought them playing main stages at major Punk rock festivals in Europe such as Groezrock(2x), Punk Rock Holiday, Jera On Air, KNRD-Fest, Brakrock,...

F.O.D. delivers catchy, melodic punkrock-songs with loads of harmonies, straight from the heart! Music can be heard in discography below.

While singer Hans Roofthooft released a solo album early 2019 (no punk rock), he also kept writing for the band, working on their widely anticipated fourth full album!

“Sleepville” will be released on 20 March 2020: a story telling album that takes its listener on a journey through time. Each record will come with an actual book that has its own artwork, which contains the story of the quiet town of Sleepville and its inhabitants. In their announcement the band writes that they will be ignoring the boundaries of punk rock for this release. If that does not spark your imagination, I don’t know what will…

Few impressions by others

"Check out our Belgium buddies F.O.D.! Remember when Bad Religion and Nofx had a baby, and that baby listened to a little Bracket in the womb? Well, here's the baby!" (Quote Bracket)

“De vlotte, opgewekte punkrock klinkt als een mix van The Bouncing Souls, oude Green Day en de beste punkrockband die Nederland ooit voorbracht: Undeclinable Ambuscade.” (Up Magazine)

“Every single song on the record is great and extra catchy, simply impossible not to sing along to.” (Melodic Punk Style)

“Belgian scene is suffering a status-quo. F.O.D. seems to be the missing link: they have the potential of becoming big(ger) and their new album confirms that F.O.D. hasn’t reached his full potential yet and that they are still moving forward.” (Out Of Step)

“If NOFX is a tomato, Green Day an onion, Blink 182 the lettuce, Bad Religion a cucumber, Frenzal Rhomb salad dressing, then F.O.D. is a very good f &% * g salad.” (Punk & Rock – Ecuador)

“F.O.D. is pushing melodic pop punk rock to a new level… this is an instant winner that will grab your attention from the very start and not let loose ever after.” (Disagreement)

“F.O.D. bewijst dat het tijd werd dat mensen met wat meer ervaring zich eens moesten buigen over het genre pretpunk.” “…met een fenomenale, uiterst radiovriendelijke song die niet zou misstaan in de Afrekening. Een dijk van een plaat die probleemloos ons eindejaarslijstje haalt.” (Kwadratuur)

“Deze tracks zijn stuk voor stuk puntig, energiek en verduiveld catchy.” (Musiczine)

"Stuk voor stuk grandioze composities! " (Rockblog)

"Als je fan bent van bands als Green Day, The Descendents, Lagwagon en Bad Religion, haal dan zéker ‘Ontario’ in huis. Je zal er geen spijt van krijgen."(Cutting Edge)

" Breathtaking harmonies, great rhythms, tight musicianship and an all out 'punkrock flair' make 'tricks of the trade' one of the best poppunk albums for a long time.” (Skatepunkers)
